- Playing/Use
- The acoustic guitar has become one of the most popular instruments in music due to its wide versatility. Guitars have classically been strummed using your fingers, and fingerpicking continues to be a prevalent style among folk, classical and even some rock guitarists. Most players today prefer to use a guitar pick to strum the strings. Play chords as a solo musical accompaniment while you sing, or to add rhythmic texture to your band. Or play notes one or two at a time to create a melodic lead guitar part. Possibilities are endless with a wide variety of alternate tunings and picking/strumming patterns, learn songs by the bands you like to find and develop your own personal style!
