Nick Zinner is known for his versatile playing, and his latest custom
lets him go from intricate, gentle licks to hammering torrents of sound
in an instant, allowing him to sculpt his sound around vocalist Karen
O’s howls. Like his other First Act customs, this guitar has a maple
top, a semi-hollow body, and a Bigsby vibrato tailpiece. For this
model, Zinner changed up a few things. This one is a double-cut carved
top and back with a deeper construction. It has a wine red finish, two
humbuckers rather than three, and a built-in fuzz circuit.
