A truly intrepid guitar should have a bold look and sound, like the one we created for Mike Woods of the Boston hard rock outfit Damone. The Exploder axe sports a futuristic, well-balanced body shape with rounded edges and a slick natural-burst finish. Taking a cue from the metal tradition of pure simplicity, we installed a single bridge-position humbucker that snarls, screams, and wails, thanks to a vibrato tailpiece.
