For Shonna Tucker of the Drive By Truckers we created a custom Delia bass with a beautiful, natural look and a serious, wide-ranging sound. Two hand-carved f-holes grace the flame maple top. The lush transparent green finish is set off by clean white binding. Tucker preferred a thicker, rounded, T-style maple neck, and a rosewood fretboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Two Darkstar pickups provide responsive sound that packs punch across the entire tonal spectrum. In the Drive By Trucker’s Southern-tinged sound, this bass rocks the bottom with beefy tone.
