With anthemic, hook-laden songs that churn up the pop-rock sounds of the ‘80s, Waltham isn’t afraid to be flashy in their music. Neither is the custom axe we made for lead guitarist Craig Small. Beginning with a double cutaway body shape specifically designed by Small, we piled on the flair with a bright white finish and a shimmering three-piece pearloid pick guard. The hardware is all chrome and shine, from the casing of the single K.A. humbucker pickup to the Hipshot O-ring knobs for volume and tone control. It is a guitar that screams to all the girls in the audience the moment Craig walks onstage and before he even spins up the volume.
