There’s a time and a place for subtlety, unless you’re
guitarist Nick Sadler of the high-energy insanity-fest known as Daughters.
Sadler’s custom guitar is built around our new DC Lola body shape, featuring
two sinister horns on a carved-top ash body finished in a black and gold
sparkle tiger stripe pattern. He also wanted our increasingly popular 9-string
configuration, which doubles the top three treble strings for chiming, droning
melody while maintaining riffability on the lower strings. As if that wasn’t
enough, the bird’s eye maple neck and fretboard features a huge inlay reading
“Nick The Stripper” down the length of the neck. The whole things is topped off
by gold hardware, a three-pickup configuration (with a single coil between two
humbuckers), and a volume boost circuit to make sure this guitar sounds as loud
as it looks.
