Either we’ve really created something great with the Lola,
or Genghis Tron guitarist Hamilton Jordan is incredibly easy to
please. If you’ve listened to their intricate, riff and sample heavy music, you
know it’s probably not the latter. For his custom guitar Jordan wanted a Lola built almost
completely to stock spec. He made two changes, opting for a shorter
scale-length of 24 3/4” for a slightly looser and darker sound, and throwing a
pair of high-output active humbuckers into it for the heaviest, most powerful
sound possible. With a smooth ebony finish and black pickguard, it’s a guitar
that looks simple and straightforward, but sounds like nothing else out there.
