Jake Schultz is the bassist for the hardcore/mathcore act, Norma Jean. He approached our luthiers with a request for our classic Delgada bass, made with a sexy snakeskin, rather than the typical paint and lacquer finish. Our friends at Mojo Musical Supply collaborated, wrapping the Delgada body with two 9’ pieces of white python skin, which the First Act custom shop finished in a glossy layer of polyurethane.

The end product made Schultz swoon, saying, “[It’s] pretty awesome…the day I got it, I took it out of the box and just held it all day.”

Sounds like true love.
