For Brent Hinds, guitarist with the innovative metal band Mastodon, we created an animal of prehistoric intensity that will suitably serve their complex, rollicking sound. The muscular carved top mahogany body with asymmetrical horns is coated in a silver burst finish, and the ebony fingerboard is inlaid with small pearl dots on the bass side. Two biting, growling humbuckers provide the tone, which is capable of finesse as well thanks to a Bigsby* tremolo tailpiece. Don’t turn your back on this axe for more than a moment!
