El Musico

Henry Garza - Los Lonely Boys

Story
Specs

Henry Garza’s First Act guitar is a labor of love for beauty, and truly custom in every sense of the word, with romantically intricate dressings and elegant designs. The foundation is an offset double cutaway body of alder, finished in transparent yellow, and then appointed with hand-painted wood-block binding, hand-cut rosewood trim plates, and a 3-ply decorative cross below the bridge. The rosewood fretboard is inlaid with the words “El Musico” in large font across the middle frets, and the headstock is slotted in the style of a classical guitar to cap off the folky western aura that permeates this instrument. A wide variety of tones can be achieved from combinations between the three First Act single coil pickups, and then they can be bent, twisted, and wrestled to the dusty ground with the Wilkinson tremolo tailpiece. Stare into the flame, hear it sing, and be transfixed.
