Colin Cripps describes his First Act guitar as "tight, clean, and distinctive."
Cripps' guitar is a single cutaway electric with an elegant carved top and back.
Finished in cherry red, the top is flame maple, with a Honduran mahogany back and cream binding on the top and back.
Keisuke Nishi carved the body and created a custom flame maple backplate from the same piece of wood as the top.
When asked about his guitar, Cripps said, "It turned out awesome. Kei did a fantastic job on all of the woodwork. I had the idea of having a tight, mid-range sounding guitar with a clear top end, and they did a great job."
