The circling shark inlays, amber top hat knobs, and gold hardware give it a distinctly classic air, while the pickup selection adds modernity. He wanted a humbucker in the bridge and two single coils in the neck and middle, with the middle pickup wired to its own volume knob to give complete control over the blend between the pickups.
