Steve Pedulla of Thursday tears it up with thrashing riffs. With measured moments of cadence and clash, the post-hardcore band’s songs are tense, fierce, and thoughtful. Formed in 1997, the quartet gigged furiously, drawing a grassroots audience and gaining enough traction to play the mainstage on the Warped Tour and break through on MTV and radio. The band signed to Island in 2002 and has subsequently released both a live EP and a studio album. Of late they released a new studio album entitled A City by the Light Divided in 2006, and a live CD/DVD, Kill the House Lights, in 2007.
