Long Island natives Envy on the Coast have risen quickly, going from relative unknowns to alternative rock darlings in just a few short years. Opening for big-name bands like Angels and Airwaves and 30 Seconds to Mars helped, but the solid songwriting and lack of gimmicks on their debut album Lucy Gray proves that the band can succeed on their own merits as well.
