Converge, a four-piece punk metal band from Boston, Massachusetts, has been building its cult-like underground following since the early ‘90s. 1994 saw their first independent label release with the album Halo in the Haystack. After nearly two decade’s worth of touring, they released You Fail Me on the reputable punk label Epitaph. Their second release on Epitaph came in 2006 with the much-anticipated No Heroes.

Nate Newton hails from Virginia Beach and plays bass in the band. Nate also plays guitar in two side projects: Old Man Gloom and Doomriders.
