The Bravery is a band that combines old-school rock attitude with new wave songwriting. Michael Zakarin has been with the band since its inception in 2003, moving from a jazz background to the band's signature  alternative-techno mix. Zakarin plays left-handed lead guitar and is responsible for bringing Michael "Dirt" Hindert on board as bassist.
