Singer/songwriter Matt King’s music is rooted in the timeless struggle of working Americans–a theme reminiscent of Steinbeck, Guthrie, Dylan and Johnny Cash.  King signed with Atlantic Nashville in the late nineties, writing and recording two albums; Five O’Clock Hero and Hard Country. Since leaving the major-label life behind, Matt has released several more records independently, the latest being 2008's Rube.
