Martin Gore

Formed in 1980, Depeche Mode was originally part of Britain's new romantic movement. Over the last 25 years, they have developed from a dance-pop sound to a darker, dramatic alternative sound. With decades of hits, including "Just Can't Get Enough," "Master and Servant," "People Are People," "Strangelove," "Policy of Truth," and "Personal Jesus," Depeche Mode has sold tens of millions of albums worldwide and remains one of the most popular recording and live performance bands of all time. Martin Gore (vocals, guitar, keyboards) has been with the band since its inception, and is their main songwriter.
