Converge, a four-piece punk metal band from Boston, Massachusetts, has been building its cult-like underground following since the early 90’s. 1994 saw their first independent label release with the album Halo in the Haystack. Now after nearly two decade’s worth of touring, they have released their newest full-length, You Fail Me on the reputable punk label Epitaph.

Kurt Ballou is guitarist, various electronics operator, and main songwriter for the band. He also owns Godcity Studios in Salem, MA, where he makes his living recording and producing fellow metal, hardcore, and punk bands from all around the world. Most recently he’s been working on the production of Converge’s new album.
