Josh Cornutt plays guitar in the Southern-rock/metalcore band Maylene & the Sons of Disaster. The group formed in Alabama in 2004 and after signing with the Christian metal label Mono vs. Stereo, released their eponymous debut album the following year. In 2006 the band made a switch to the reputable post-hardcore label Ferret Records and released Maylene & the Sons of Disaster, Vol. 2 in the spring of 2007.
