John Cabán is a NYC-based musician who operates all over the musical map. He plays ambient, inventive guitar, as well as composes and produces out of his own studio - the Blue Room. Cabán’s unique sound and versatility make him a heavily sought-after player in rock, blues, funk and world music settings, with such past collaborators as Richard Bona, Alana Davis, Bo Diddley, Kenny Kirkland and Art Neville (of The Meters). He spends the rest of his musical time with the Brooklyn based Electro-Dub-Funk quartet, planet JABR.
