Jimmy Messer first gained notice with the acclaimed Texas-based band Goudie, which recorded two albums after being signed by Metallica's Lars Ulrich. After relocating to Los Angeles, Messer began work as a session player, eventually settling in as a guitarist and producer for Grammy-winning, multi-platinum pop idol Kelly Clarkson, with whom he has spent more than two years on the road.
