Hailing from Sweden, The Soundtrack of Our Lives has been recognized for its pop, rock, and punk prowess. Their breakthrough album, Behind the Music, hit both Rolling Stone and Billboard’s best albums of 2001 lists. In 2003, they were nominated for a Grammy in the Best Alternative Album category.

The group has been playing together since 1995, when they brought together former members of the super-heavy cult band Union Carbide Productions. Eleven years later, they’re still cranking out vintage-sounding rock. Their last release was 2005's A Present from the Past, a compilation of b-sides and unreleased material.
