Since the early 1980s, Ministry has been cranking out unrelenting, intense symphonic rock. Founded by Al Jourgensen, the band has been unleashing sonic offensives for more than two decades.
Ministry has influenced many genres, from dance to industrial rock to death metal. The band combines seemingly unrelated elements—distorted heavy metal guitar; samples; synthesizers; throaty, growling vocals; even classical choirs—all delivered with outrageous theatrics, strong political opinions, and a twisted sense of humor.
After longtime bassist and programmer Paul Barker resigned from the band last year, Jourgenson reconnected with guitarist Mike Scaccia, and enlisted bassist John Monte and drummer Mark Baker to record the new CD, Houses Of The Molé.
