Experienced Artists Relations Expert Joins First Act

First Act Hires Jimmy Archey to Expand Musical Products Company's National Endorsement Program

Newton, MA (December 17, 2003) - First Act Inc, a leading manufacturer of quality musical instruments, announced today that it has hired Jimmy Archey as Artist Relations Manager for First Act's Musical Endorsement Program. In his new role, Archey will be responsible for expanding the company's current endorsement program by attracting both mainstream national artists and independent musicians and promoting First Act's brand and message of bringing high quality instruments and musical opportunity to everyone.

Archey will be in charge of generating interest and raising the profile of First Act's in-house Studio for Artists with national and independent music scene professionals. First Act's Studio for Artists designs and creates custom-built, one-of-a-kind guitars in a state-of-the-art luthier studio and has created guitars for A-List artists.

Jimmy will be head of First Act's brand new New York City "Studio" showroom (slated to open in 2004) where professional musicians can play First Act instruments in an elegant, modern sound room. Other duties will include, trade press activity, trade show participation, marketing initiatives, celebrity interviews, concert engagements, and media releases and articles.

Prior to joining First Act, Archey spent 13 years with Gibson Guitars in their New York City office, most recently in the position of Entertainment Relations Manager. Archey has a degree in Recording and Sound Technology and has worked closely with professional musical artists in the recording arena as an audio technician.
