Maroon 5’s frontman Adam Levine plays his First Act custom guitar throughout the band’s new “Makes Me Wonder” video. The band achieved major success with their first studio effort, Songs About Jane, which went multi-platinum in many countries and garnered them a Grammy for Best New Artist in 2005. Levine’s guitar is a handsome double cutaway, carved-top electric. Loaded with two First Act high output humbuckers, it’s ready for big studio and stage sound. The flame maple top shimmers through a transparent black finish with black burst edges. White binding with abalone purfling runs around the body, fretboard, and headstock, adding depth and beauty to the overall look. Levine chose the body style, color, hardware, and extras, and First Act guitarmaker Bill Jancar brought this very stylish guitar to life. Maroon 5 released their second studio album, It Won’t Be Soon Before Long, in May 2007, and won their third Grammy award for "Makes me Wonder" for Best Pop Performance at the 50th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
